About the Redeyes

The 120th Fighter Squadron is also known as “The Redeyes.”

This is a brief history of the 120th Fighter Squadron, 140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard, from its creation through the present.

Our Patch

The 120th Fighter Squadron patch is a cougar’s head blazon on a black field within a red disk.

Our Base

Buckley ANGB is located in 10 miles east of Denver, CO. It bears 205° for 10nm from DIA. Buckley is home to Colorado Air National Guard and Army National Guard.

Our Jet

We fly the F-16C+ Viper. It’s a single-seat, single-engine, single-tail, highly maneuverable supersonic fighter jet with advanced avionics.
